Why Are YOU Here?

Perhaps you you have stumbled upon it in a Google search

Perhaps someone directed you here specifically.

I can tell you, it was no accident.

You NEED to hear what I am about to say.

YOU.

Yes,  YOU.

Whatever you are going through.

Wherever you have been, wherever life has taken you.

YOU are here reading a blog, on a page that is dedicated to overcoming.  That has made its sole purpose living.  Breathing.  Healing.  Moving forward. 

You will soon find pages and pages of red flags, abusive personality types, possible triggers, things you need to know to help you understand what has happened to you, may be happening to you, maybe IS happening to you.  I will share my story, I have others stories to share with you as well.

Maybe you are an abuser, maybe you are looking for some sort of salvation, some sort of justification.  I can't tell you that harming another is OK.  It isn't.  I can speak to the victim in you.  That hurt child, buried deeply in you and say to that child, "It was wrong that you were hurt.  I'm sorry little one."  But as I look to the grown up you, and address you, I can say, "Nothing justifies what you do."

To my darling family here, let me be your mirror.  Let me tell you how precious and beautiful you are.  You deserve peace.  You deserve joy.  Please believe this.  In this moment of perfect balance, take the time to tip things in the direction of positivity.  Say to yourself, "I deserve healthy relationships."  You do. 

If you saw yourself in my eyes, you'd know how true that is.
